Management Area > Advertisement

The Advertisement function is a practical tool provided by the LOL Online Learning Platform for administrators. It can display countdown timers and advertising links on the homepage, effectively promoting courses, activities, or important notices. This feature combines two main components—Countdown Timer and Advertising Link—not only enhancing information exposure but also creating visually attractive displays.


Feature Introduction

Add Advertisement

  • Input the advertisement title
  • Select category (e.g., Courses, Events, Announcements)
  • Set status (Active/Inactive)
  • Specify the advertisement display period (Start and End date)
  • Add hyperlinks directing to specific pages or event details

Add Countdown Timer

  • Set title (e.g., "5 Days Left to Register")
  • Specify category and status
  • Define the countdown start and end time
  • The system automatically calculates the remaining days and displays them on the homepage

Status Control and Time Management

  • Each advertisement and countdown timer can be individually activated or deactivated
  • Expired advertisements are automatically removed without manual intervention

Category Tags

  • Assign categories to each entry, facilitating future search and unified management

Operating Steps

How to Add an Advertisement

  1. Log in to the backend, click Management Area > Advertisement
  2. Click the Add Advertisement button
  3. Enter advertisement title and content
  4. Choose category and status
  5. Set the publication start and end dates
  6. Click Save to complete settings

How to Add a Countdown Timer

  1. Navigate to Management Area > Advertisement
  2. Click the Add Countdown Timer button
  3. Enter the title
  4. Select category and status, and define the countdown period
  5. Click Save to finalize settings

This interface centrally manages all uploaded advertising banners, allowing administrators to set their display positions and publication periods.

Subject

Enter keywords to search advertisement subjects.

Category

Dropdown menu to filter advertisements based on display positions.

Status

Provides status filtering options.

Search Button

A magnifying glass icon button to execute searches.

Add

Add a new advertisement.

Edit

Modify selected advertisement content from the list below.

Delete

Remove selected advertisements from the list below.

Displays all created advertisements in table format.

Category

Shows each advertisement's location using colored labels.

Image

Displays a preview image of the advertisement.

Subject

Title of the advertisement.

Rotation Seconds

The number of seconds the advertisement is displayed before switching to the next one.

Publication Start Date

The date when the advertisement begins appearing on the frontend.

Publication End Date

The date when the advertisement stops appearing. If expired, a red "Expired" label appears next to it.

Last Updated

Displays the last time the advertisement was edited.

Status

Shows the current status of the advertisement.


Add/Edit Homepage Advertisement

Management Area > Advertisement > Add/Edit

Staff can configure detailed advertisement information, including titles, display positions, rotation methods, publication periods, images, and links.

Subject

Input the advertisement title, with a prompt: *Limited to 8 Chinese characters.

Category

Dropdown menu to specify where the advertisement will appear.

Rotation Seconds

Dropdown menu to set how long the advertisement stays visible in the carousel section.

Status

Choose whether the advertisement is "Published" or "Hidden".

Publication Period

Date range selector to precisely set the advertisement's visibility period.

Image

A "Select File" button allows staff to upload an image file for the advertisement. The "Image" section does not appear if the "Countdown" category is selected. A red-text prompt clearly states: * Resolution: 120x60, Size < 10K.

Image Preview

Displays a thumbnail preview after uploading.

Text input field for specifying the webpage address users will be redirected to upon clicking the advertisement.

Quick Setup Buttons

Buttons for quickly linking advertisements to Latest News, Consultations, Albums, or Purchase Points pages.

Cancel

Discard all changes.

Delete

Delete the advertisement record (available only in "Edit" mode).

Save

Save all settings.
