FAQ

Q1: What is "Cloud Message," and what is its primary advantage over traditional SMS?

A: "Cloud Message" manages and tracks "Push Notifications" or "In-App Messages" sent to mobile apps. The primary advantage over traditional SMS is its ability to track whether users have actually opened the message, reflected in the "Read Count," a feature traditional SMS cannot provide.

Q2: Why is the message sending count zero?

A: Please ensure students use app version 1.1.6 or higher; older versions cannot receive notifications.

Q3: Can messages be scheduled for future sending?

A: Yes. The system supports precise date and time scheduling.

Q4: Can messages be edited or retracted after sending?

A: Sent messages cannot be edited; scheduled messages can be canceled before the scheduled time.

Q5: Can administrators track if students have read messages?

A: The list page shows the number of users who have read each message and can further export detailed student data.

Q6: Can messages be sent to specific classes only?

A: Yes. During sending, messages can be filtered by specific classes for precise targeting.

Q7: Will students in multiple classes receive duplicate messages?

A: No. The system automatically excludes duplicates, ensuring each student receives the message only once.

Q8: How can administrators quickly filter or search specific message records?

A: Administrators can quickly filter records using "Date Range Filters" and "Status Filters," including shortcuts like "Today," "This Week," and statuses like "Sending," "Sent," "Scheduled."

Q9: How do staff precisely select notification recipients?

A: Staff can precisely select recipients through the "Class Filter" dropdown or the "Search Box" by entering student account or name. The system displays recipient counts in real-time.

Q10: What key data does the sending record provide?

A: It provides "Successful Count" (messages successfully delivered), "Failed Count" (undelivered messages), and "Read Count" (users who opened the message).

Q11: What is the function of "Category (Destination Page)"?

A: It categorizes messages and potentially directs users to specific pages in the app upon clicking the notification.

Q12: How do staff schedule and confirm message sending?

A: Staff set sending times using the date/time picker and confirm settings by clicking the "Confirm Send" button at the bottom.
